Walk with the wise

Who is wiser than Christ? Spend quiet moments with Jesus. Read His words and ask Him for wisdom. Seek understanding. Ask Him your questions.

โ€œWalk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.โ€
โ€ญโ€ญProverbsโ€ฌ โ€ญ13โ€ฌ:โ€ญ20โ€ฌ โ€ญNLTโ€ฌโ€ฌ

Yes, find a friend who is wise and understanding of Godโ€™s word. Seek a human who is filled with Godโ€™s Spirit. Walk with the wise.

But, seek Godโ€™s face and dwell in His presence more often. He is with you always. If you know Jesus in the dark and quiet, you will recognize Him in the noisy light of day.

โ€œYou, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.โ€
โ€ญโ€ญ1 Johnโ€ฌ โ€ญ4โ€ฌ:โ€ญ4โ€ฌ โ€ญNIVโ€ฌโ€ฌ

Eyes on Jesus, friend, and shine His light and love to the world,

Lisa

  1. Yes, Joanne, isnโ€™t it wonderful in these strange days to walk with our Savior? He is so faithful and good to us. Perhaps it takes the strangest of days to make us so hungry for His presence. May He become our greatest craving.
Eyes on Jesus, friend. You shine!

  2. It is amazing the wisdom and understanding the Lord can bring simply by reading Scripture. The words stay with me throughout the day and come back to mind as needed. “If you know Jesus in the dark and quiet, you will recognize Him in the noisy light of day.”
