Luke 24:13-27.

The walk to Emmaus.

The timeframe is post – resurrection. The tomb is empty. The women encountered angels at the tomb who declared,

““He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ””

Afterwards, two travelers from Jerusalem were walking on the road toward Emmaus. Suddenly, Jesus joined them on their journey.

What happens when Jesus walks into the middle of their recounting and sorting of current events?

Jesus asked,

“What are you discussing together as you walk along?”

What happens when He walks into the middle of your pondering? You have questions about your life, current events, and perplexing situations. Jesus already knows all the details. He wants to help us sort our thoughts and our feelings.

He asks the best questions… Do you want to include Him in your processing?

Go ahead. Invite Him in. He wants to dine with you at your table, hear your heart, and soothe your painful places.

It’s in the relationship He unveils your eyes to see Him.

What will He ask you? What will you share? How is He redeeming all things and making you new?
