Morning Communion. Coffee wake ups. Cotton candy skies. And a chosen scripture that pops up as the ‘verse of the day’.
“Blessed is she who has believed that God would fulfill His promises to her!”
Luke 1:45
You who are more techno savvy will probably want me to know that this is algorithm and AI. Maybe. I’m sure you are way smarter about such things. I, quite contentedly, don’t know about all that.
Oh, but do you know my God like I know my God?
I know He is beyond AI and algorithms. God is before all things and because of Him all things that we know, hold, touch, look at and listen to exist. He is the reason we communicate. He is The Word. He is the reason we sing. He created the sound… the notes, and the mouths… the vocal cords… and on and on. Name it. God was before it. He is the Creator of all. And He intended all things to be beneficial and good.

And so I cling today to this scripture that lit up for me in November. I hold it in my pondering thoughts. I ask Holy Spirit, “What do You want me to know?” And I know my Father is whispering His delight over His daughters who are choosing to trust Him. He leans in closer to His girls who are leaning towards Him.
“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
Hebrews 4:16 NIV
Blessed are you, sweet lady, who has said ‘yes’ to God and walk day by day believing He is faithful and true. Blessed are you, precious daughter, who decided to believe God’s unchanging Word over the wavering words of a lost culture. Blessed are you, woman of God, who will follow Him wherever He leads believing He has the best plans for you.
O Come let us adore Him! King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Immanuel, God with us. The triune God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Come ladies, and bow with me before our Maker, our Delight, and our Promise-keeper. Faithful is He to complete the good work He began in us. To His glory He will make His bride complete, whole and holy.
Thank You, Jesus, for loving us first. We love you too… and we trust you to fill us with your love and empower us to love from the heart knowledge that we are held, valued, loved and forgiven by You, our Great God. May our relationships reflect Your relationship with us. We deeply desire to be like You.
Amen.

Eyes on Jesus and Shine!
Lisa
