Usually, change is personal, but then 2020 happened and humanity on a global scale experienced a mass shift in lifestyle. Most everything normal to our daily routine was shut down, unplugged, and made inaccessible. People everywhere on our planet were confronted with unwanted and unexpected change. I could be wrong and often am, but I think no one came out of 2020 unchanged.
We were so carefree back then; singing and dancing without a care for what anyone thought. These are the memories which have caused me to run to Jesus recently asking Him what happened to my freedom to laugh big and sing loud. When did I become so inhibited?
We need a broader understanding of what it means to be heroic. A brave person is not made in a single moment, on center stage, but in the thousands of little choices that go unseen by all by God. For me, bravery is built every time I choose to walk into a room believing that I am a daughter of the King.
