Welcome! I’m glad you stopped by…

I hope you’ll find this a restful place to park for awhile. Perhaps a cool drink of water is what you seek. Sit please, relax and breathe for a moment. As we share ideas here, my prayer is for you to receive refreshment in this place.

One of my favorite stories of rest has a surprise discovery included within it. Jesus took a break from his journey. While he rested by a well, a woman came out to draw some water.

Jesus asked her for a cup of cool water. Her response was one of shock since He was a Jew and she a Samaritan woman. Jesus’ reply from John 4:10 is this “If you only knew the gift God has for you and who you are speaking to, you would ask me, and I would give you living water.”

Christ is the well of Living Water and He promises that if we drink deeply of Him we will never thirst again.

I’m seeking this type of rest with Jesus and longing for a surprising discovery.
